Logo contest for the 40th Anniversary

logo contest

1. Purpose

1.1. The objective of this contest is to select the design of a logo that will serve as the representative image of the 40th anniversary of Cor Carlit Gospel for all communication and promotional events related to this celebration (social media, concert posters, merchandising, website, etc.).

1.2. The logo must clearly reflect the idea that Cor Carlit Gospel is celebrating its 40th anniversary. In addition, including symbols or images traditionally associated with the Cor Carlit Gospel image will be positively valued.

2. Participants

2.1. All members of Cor Carlit Gospel, whether active or on leave; any former member; and, in general, any person with ties to Cor Carlit Gospel may participate in the contest.

2.2. Candidatures must be submitted individually.

2.3. Each participant may submit up to 3 different logos.

2.4. Candidatures must be submitted under a pseudonym (alias).

3. Technical Conditions

3.1. The designs must be original and unpublished. Each participant is responsible for certifying this originality and guaranteeing that their candidature is the result of their personal creativity, their own work, and does not infringe on the copyright of others. Consequently, they must certify that they have not used the work of any third party, such as images or design elements not created by the participant.

3.2. The colors used in the design must be white and red. Optionally, a third color may be included.

3.3. The technique is free, but participants must take the following criteria into account:

a. The logo must be easily reproducible both in positive and negative, and it must be easily convertible to grayscale for use in both color and black and white.

b. The logo must be clearly visible even when reproduced at small sizes.

c. The logo must be able to be reproduced on different media and materials.

3.4. The color design must be accompanied by a monochrome version (black and white or grayscale) that allows reproduction using only one ink.

3.5. The design must be submitted in digital format, preferably in scalable vector format (.ai, .svg, .pdf, .eps). If submitted in a fixed resolution format (.psd, .png, .jpg, .tiff), the design must be at least 2,000×2,000 pixels in size. In any case, the highest possible resolution is recommended.

3.6. The typeface must be BlairMdITC TT-Medium for the text “Cor Carlit Gospel.” If a second font is included, it must be freely downloadable, and the technical details (font name, size, and color) must be submitted along with the design.

3.7. Any candidature containing sexist, xenophobic, racist, homophobic, or offensive content will be disqualified.

3.8. Submitted originals will not be returned; participants are therefore advised to keep a copy of all submitted materials.

3.9. Once a logo has been submitted, it may not be withdrawn.

4. Submission of Candidatures

4.1. The deadline date for submission is December 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

4.2. Candidatures must be sent to the person responsible for commission coordination at the following email address:

coordinacio@corcarlitgospel.org

4.3. The subject line of the email must be “40th Anniversary Logo Contest.”

4.4. All candidatures must be anonymous and submitted under an alias, with no identifying elements that could reveal the real identity of the designer. Only the commission coordinator will know the real identity of each participant and is responsible for keeping this confidential. Once the submission period ends, the candidatures will be forwarded to the jury identified only by alias.

9. Acceptance of the Rules

Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of all these rules and the jury’s decision. Any unforeseen situation not covered in these rules will be resolved by the jury and communicated to each participant.
